Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the sassa status check area every day. The assistance issue produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the office to attend to all sassa status people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to allow the servicing of all prospects and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
